Blackmagic announced several new camera models at NAB. At the top of the line (and price point), the new URSA cameras offer 4.6K resolution, with an impressive 15 stops of dynamic range. At 4,608×2,592-pixel resolution, the camera is capable of capturing footage at up to 120fps. The Blackmagic URSA 4.6K camera will be available by the summer for $7,495. Owners of the standard URSA camera can upgrade to the 4.6K version for as little as $2,000.

Scaled down, the newly announced URSA Mini is a portable version of the URSA cinema camera. It is constructed from magnesium alloy to keep it lightweight and portable. It comes in the same 4K and 4.6K options as the full-sized URSA camera, with Blackmagic Cinema Cameraframe rates up to 60fps and a full HD touchscreen.
But it gets even more compact: The company has also announced the Blackmagic Micro cinema camera. The goal of the new version is to enable remote operation: The airplane remote allows users to capture and control the action from anywhere.
