E840 Cardioid Dynamic Vocal Microphone

The Sennheiser E840 is a professional vocal microphone designed for on-stage performances, public address, announcements and just about any application requiring a professional handheld microphone.

The high quality dynamic element, provides a wide linear frequency response and low noise floor. The capsule features a cardioid polar pattern which effectively minimizes noise and ambiance at the sides of the capsule. The result is minimal residual and ambiance noise as well as noise caused by feedback.

A hum compensation coil reduces electromagnetic interference. Internal shock-mounting prevents handling noise and damage to the element when accidentally dropped or hit.

Noiseless On/Off

The E840 features a noise-free On/Off switch eliminating the "pop" noise associated with powering up or down.

Hum Compensation Coil

The E840 features a hum compensation coil which reduces noise caused by electromagnetic interference, radio frequency interference and hum.
