This Vinten Elevation Unit for HDT-1 Tripod is designed for use with the Vinten HDT-1 heavy duty tripod. The elevation unit attaches directly to the tripod. A geared handle and an on-shot clamp provide a height range of 18" (45.8 cm).
This Vinten Elevation Unit for HDT-1 Tripod is designed for use with the Vinten HDT-1 heavy duty tripod. The elevation unit attaches directly to the tripod. A geared handle and an on-shot clamp provide a height range of 18" (45.8 cm). The unit supports a maximum payload of 250 lbs (113 kg). The pan and tilt head is attached to the elevation unit with a four-bolt fixing as standard, with Mitchell, Quickfix and 100/150 mm bowl adapters optional. Maximum height with the HDT-1 tripod and floor spreader is 71.3" (181.2 cm). Minimum height with the HDT-1 tripod and floor spreader is 28.1" (71.5 cm). Not for use with a two-stage tripod, because of reduced stability when the elevation unit is fully extended.
