The FR-331M Supercardioid Shotgun Microphone from MXL is a 16.5" phantom-powered shotgun microphone designed for video production and broadcast applications. It has a built-in FET preamp that allows videographers and other professionals or enthusiasts to produce clear, accurate recordings with side rejection. The FR-331M's narrow pattern allows you to single out your subject when there is unwanted background noise which your built-in camera mic cannot handle. The microphone is also suitable for general video recordings, for example at weddings, as well as for Foley work and interviews. This shotgun microphone comes with a windscreen and a stand mount adapter
