HD/SD Portable Video Switcher (Main Frame)

The For-A HD/SD Portable Video Switcher (Main Frame) is a portable Hanabi series broadcast level video switcher with 4 HD/SD-SDI inputs and outputs which can be extended up to a maximum of 12 inputs and 8 outputs using optional I/O cards. It features frame synchronization and re-sizing engine on every channel and allows standard definition equipment to be used in full HD mode. The switcher offers over 100 wipe patterns like cut, mix, etc. which also include 2D and 3D DVE transitions.

Providing support for RS-422, Editor, ARCNET, Ethernet, GPI and Tally interfacing, the HD/SD Portable Video Switcher comes with 2 dedicated still stores used to upload or download images (JPEG and TARGA) via the USB port. The switcher features 2 dedicated Picture-in-Picture channels that display a compressed image of any input from 1% to 25%, and allows expand, squeeze, crop, and add borders with the dual Picture-in-Picture mode that can be assigned to user buttons so that fade-ins, fade-outs, slide-ins, and slide-outs for Picture-in-Picture transitions can be operated by single button operations.

The HD/SD Portable Video Switcher includes an OSD display, a keyer for easy to use broadcast level chroma key, dsk, dual picture-in-picture, and a 16-channel multi viewer for assigning any input or output using either its 4, 10, or 16 channel display with tally, titling functions, still stores, etc. The 2 rack unit switcher is suitable for use with a wide-range of applications including studio, live events, sports, flypacks, eng/sng ob vehicles, houses of worship, news, live staging, and corporate productions.

The HD/SD Portable Video Switcher has 3 types of control units, the HVS-30OU operation unit, the HVS-30RU remote control unit, and the HVS-30GUI remote control software.
