Hip Packs come in four sizes. They have a semi-hard shell and padding to protect gear and fit comfortably. There are pockets for lens filters, lens caps, AA & 9v batteries, very small radio microphones, very small tape stock and other essentials. A 2” quick release buckle goes on and off in a flash.
The Porta Brace HIP-4 Hip Pack for Mini DV Camcorder Kits (X-Large, Midnight Black) is designed to hold a Sony HVR-A1U or similar-sized Mini DV camcorder, tapes and batteries, and other accessories. It can be used either in the belly position or fanny position. The main compartment has a reinforced interior. There is a pocket on the front, a zippered pocket on the top, three front slip pockets, a side pocket and a pocket for your keys. The pack has a wide, quick-release waist belt. A divider for the main compartment is included.
