The WiCam is a combination of a high-quality video encoder, WMT-Multiplex software and industrial hardware. The WiCam has by default 3x 3G/4G radio modules (upgradable to 8), WiFi and RS485. Supporting both HDMI and SDI cameras and analogue via a converter, the WiCam delivers a complete solution for video surveillance vehicles and standalone set-ups. The hardware is available for temperature ranges between -25 and 60 degrees Celsius.
The WiCam can multiplexe up to 8 connections, which can be a combination of 3G/4G/WiFi/Fixed IP/CDMA2000 or any other technology. The WiCam provides by default HD-HDMI and SDI input and analogue video and audio input via a separate converter. The WiCam encodes the video dynamically with H.264 in combination with AAC audio. The adaptive encoded video and audio is transported over the multiplexed connections. The system will provide video bandwidths between 150 kbit and 16 Mbit (capped) depending on available mobile bandwidth and sent over auxiliary data. For remote control of PTZ cameras there is an RS485 port available. Via a separate external display or via the built-in WiFi access point from any smart phone, it is possible to monitor the unit.
The WiCam utilizes the patent pending multiplexing Mplex technology to create a high data rate channel to deliver the highest quality video possible.
The MVP solution consists of 2 or 3 elements depending on your requirements. The system can be configured to use only a server and a website for viewing the image and recordings of the different cameras connected. On top of this, it is possible to connect dedicated IP cameras from Bosch and 360 Vision Technologies.

Standby/Data bonding: In this mode the unit is a true data bonding unit for high-speed uploads and internet access. In other modes data connectivity is available but live video gets prioritized.
PostPro license (optional): In this mode the system records next to a high-res CBR a low-res proxy file which can be used for remote editing and partial retrieve.
