Mobile Viewpoint BaseLink H.264/H.265 Live streaming

Transmit live video from any location and go live on YouTube or other streaming platforms with the BaseLink low-cost streaming solution. BaseLink gives you a live video connection regardless of your location using bonded fixed, WiFi, 3G and 4G mobile network connections.

Housed in aluminium, BaseLink contains four modems (upgradable to 6) and can bundle up to six mobile network channels and one fixed IP connection to provide sufficient upstream bandwidth for HD video. There is also an option to add WiFi and Ethernet connections to maximize bandwidth and ensure the highest-quality video streaming. BaseLink’s upstream bandwidth ranges between 256 Kbps and 12 Mbps.

With the BaseLink you can use QR scanning functionality to add additional information to the video files, outside of the file name - such as project name, production title, camera number and location. 

Store & Forward

To accelerate store and forward, BaseLink uses Mobile Viewpoint's Continious Picture Technology (CPT), which takes transmission time and available bandwidth into consideration to ensure the highest quality video possible is delivered. CPT ensures all content is transferred as quickly as possible, and meets a preferred or defined time schedule - important for news broadcasters, who need to deliver content before the next news bulletin. 

Manage & Control

In combination with the web-based platform the LinkMatrix it is possible to control, manage and administer all the WMT devices and connections. The LinkMatrix is multi-destination and makes it possible to publish the same feed on many platforms including Social Media and private CDN’s.
