The Switronix Powerbase-70 DSLR V-Mount Battery Pack provides up to 6x the runtime of a Canon OEM battery, and is specifically designed for use with the Canon 5D MkII and 7D cameras.
The Switronix Powerbase-70 DSLR V-Mount Battery Pack provides up to 6x the runtime of a Canon OEM battery, and is specifically designed for use with the Canon 5D MkII and 7D cameras. The 14.8v battery pack attaches to the bottom of the camera and also serves to provide a more stable grip for the camera. It can also attach to a HDSLR support via its 1/4-20 release plate or V-mount.
In addition to powering the camera this 14.8v battery pack has auxiliary connectors for powering to up to two additional 12vdc devices, as well as other devices requiring lower voltage through an additional XP power regulation cable. A 1/4-20 mounting hole on either side of the battery enables attachment of other accessories.
