Precision Beam Control for Medium Softboxes

The DoPchoice SNAPGRID® M 40° (L2.0038791) is a specialized light-control modifier designed to fit medium DoPchoice softboxes, including the SNAPBAG® M for the ARRI Orbiter. Delivering a tight 40° half peak angle (HPA), this grid enables gaffers and cinematographers to maintain the soft quality of the SNAPBAG® M while precisely controlling light spill to keep unwanted bounce off background walls, set pieces, or camera lenses.

Self-Erecting SNAPGRID® Design

Featuring DoPchoice’s patented internal spring-frame construction, the SNAPGRID® M 40° pops out of its bag and expands into a rigid, fully formed grid with zero assembly required. Its internal tensioning ensures the fabric cells remain square and taut without drooping or sagging—even when mounted on overhead booms or angled downwards.

Tool-Free Mounting & Portable Protection

The grid mounts directly to the front lip of the SNAPBAG® M using robust velcro fasteners, allowing for fast attachment and removal on fast-paced sets. When the shoot wraps, it twists and collapses flat, storing neatly inside its included carrying bag.
