Slice 166 is a 1U rack mount HD-SDI H.264 encoder built for OB vans and enterprise applications. It enables video professionals to broadcast low latency high definition 1080p video at up to 10Mbps for IPTV, streaming servers, OTT content, and set-top boxes. Slice 166 can feed live video over 2.4/5Ghz MIMO WiFi, ethernet, or cellular and supports multiple transport protocols, including MPEG Transport Stream, RTMP, RTSP, HLS, UDP Multicast, and Zixi. With the addition of Teradek’s Sputnik server, Slice 166 rack mount encoders gain IFB and remote monitoring capabilities that give broadcasters full control over their IP video deployments.
