- 1. Select a program
SmartDirect provides multiple programs to facilitate content creation. Select a program that best suits your application, such as news, sports or presentation, and a standard playlist and material template will be generated. Of course, original programs are also available. - 2. Playlist edit
Make detailed edits based on a selected program to aid in its progression. Create the playlist you have imagined by adding segments or changing templates, etc. - 3. Template edit
When your playlist is ready, edit the template content to create each segment. You can finish your own original program by changing the content of the telop, switching data, changing colors and making other detailed revisions.
[Actual Take]
1. Load the program, and TAKE! (The only steps required!)
During an actual take, just press the TAKE button, following a playlist that has been finished in advance. All of the necessary operations are implemented automatically, such as switching cameras, turning captions on and off and playing back video. You can choose to automate everything, or leave a few steps for manual operation. Tasks that would normally require several behind-the-scenes staff members can now be performed by a single director.
2. To make changes on the spot, press the Direct button to re-TAKE!
Occasionally, during an actual take, the action does not follow a playlist that has been finished in advance. When this happens, access each feature using the playlist item. Since it is possible to skip and rewind the playlist, it facilitates the creation of content that provides the feel of a live performance.
