V-R185-DLW Dual Link Desktop/Rack Mount Monitor (18.5")

The Marshall Electronics V-R185-DLW Dual Link Desktop/Rack Mount Monitor (18.5"), with an LED-backlit panel, contrast ratio of 1000:1, and a brightness rating of 300 cd/m2, produces high quality images at a resolution of 1366 x 768. A wide viewing angle of 178° (L/R, U/D) ensures that you can view images clearly from any corner of the room or when the display is mounted at a height. The V-R185-DLW monitor features a 10-bit error free video path and supports 3G capability.

With the multi-mode function, the dual link monitor splits the screen into 4 quadrants and allows you to view signal Input information (Link Status), embedded audio levels, a Waveform monitor, a Vectorscope and live video at the same time. Besides, the monitor enables you to view waveform monitor, vectorscope, SDI Link status and video individually with the help of additional layouts. The Waveform monitor allows for viewing digital video components in YUV/RGB color space, displayed in parade or overlay mode. In addition, the waveform monitor offers facility to view waveform in different aspect ratios, positions, and transparency options. With the built-in vectorscope, you can view the X-Y plot of 2 signals and observe the color gamut (subset of colors) in real time. In addition, signals can be displayed in various sizes, positions, and transparency options.

The V-R185-DLW monitor uses sixteen 40-segment tri-color audio meters with user changeable reference levels to separate and display up to 16 audio channels. In-monitor display enables on-screen text and tally indication, which can be controlled locally or remotely via support for protocols such as SL, NVISION, Image Video, and MEI (Marshall Electronics) tally control systems, remote firmware update via RS-485, tri-color hard and soft tally, and Safety Marker configurations. The dual link monitor incorporates Closed Captioning Decoding in EIA608/EIA708 caption standards to display additional text or information to viewers who wish to access it.

Equipped with the pixel-to-pixel mode, the dual link monitor displays images in their native resolution by avoiding the monitor’s internal scaling function. The Blue Gun feature switches off red and green scan guns to produce an image made only from a blue scan gun. Featured monochrome mode displays only grayscale image by disabling all colors. The aspect ratio settings allow for switching between full screen, 4:3, and 16:3 aspect ratios. In addition, the monitor incorporates RotoMenu feature for quick, direct, and easy menu navigation.

Multi-configurable OSD (on-screen display) allows you to display the embedded time code and an embedded audio presence indicator on the screen. In addition, the OSD provides closed caption presence indication for the EIA608/EIA708 captions. 4 user-programmable buttons provides fast access to various settings and functions such as aspect ratio, monochrome mode, and color temperature. The V-R185-DLW monitor supports SD-SDI (serial digital interface), HD-SDI, 3G-SDI and Dual Link SDI, and RS485 interfaces.
