The Chimera Dome M for ARRI Orbiter (L2.0034621) is a 50 cm (20-inch) fabric lantern diffuser designed to convert the Orbiter's intense point-source output into a smooth, omnidirectional wash. Built to Chimera's industry-standard quality, this medium-sized dome wraps subjects in clean, natural light while virtually eliminating harsh shadows—making it a staple for room fills, table interviews, and overhead studio lighting.

Custom QLM Speed Ring & Digital Optics Identification

Engineered specifically for the ARRI Orbiter ecosystem, the Chimera Dome M includes a dedicated QLM speed ring for tool-free, twist-lock mounting. Integrated digital optics recognition communicates directly with the fixture's LiOS software, allowing the Orbiter to identify the attached diffuser and automatically calibrate color rendering and operational parameters.

Directional Control & Portable Protection

To manage ambient spill on background walls or camera lenses, the included light-control skirt easily attaches around the perimeter of the dome, transforming the 360-degree lantern into a downward-focused soft key. The entire system packs down neatly into an included storage bag for safe transport and storage between locations.
