Clean Projection Control with Zero Beam Reduction
The ARRI Snoot for Orbiter Projection Optics (L2.0033841) is a specialized light-control modifier designed to eliminate unwanted edge halo and stray light spill generated by projection lenses. Unlike narrowing snoots used on open-face fixtures, this cylindrical modifier utilizes a fixed-aperture design that fully traps stray spill while leaving the original 25° or 35° projection beam entirely unclipped.
Anti-Reflective Interior Coating
To ensure high contrast and preserve razor-sharp pattern projections, gobos, or straight-edged cuts, the interior of the L2.0033841 is coated with a matte, non-reflective finish. This eliminates internal bounce that could otherwise soften projectable optics or introduce lens flare.
Tool-Free Drop-In Mount
Measuring 168 mm (6.6 in) in diameter, this snoot drops directly into the front accessory slot of both the Orbiter Projection Optic 25° and Projection Optic 35°. Its robust metal frame handles high temperatures with ease, providing clean beam isolation for film sets, theatrical stagings, and broadcast applications.
