Engineered for Visual Effects & Plate Shots

With geometric distortion held below 1% at its widest focal length and under 0.1% at 18 mm, straight lines remain straight even at close range. Combined with its fixed entrance pupil position and integrated ARRI Lens Data System (LDS), the UWZ simplifies camera tracking, plate shooting, and complex digital composite work in post-production.

Professional Set Ergonomics & Interchangeability

Built for high-end film production, the UWZ includes a dedicated lens support foot and exchangeable front housing interfaces (134 mm and 156 mm) to fit standard production matte boxes without vignetting. Color-matched to integrate seamlessly with existing ARRI/ZEISS and ARRI/FUJINON glass, the lens comes standard with both ARRI PL-LDS and Canon EF mount setups.
