This serial daisy-chaining ensures that a single technical director can manage up to seven cameras with high-precision pan, tilt, and zoom movements.

Distance is a major factor in professional video production. By converting the 8-pin Mini-DIN serial interface to RJ-45, the CB-55 allows you to leverage the shielding and reliability of CAT5/6 cabling for much longer control runs than traditional serial cables. This is particularly useful for permanent installations in houses of worship or corporate boardrooms where cameras are mounted on high trusses far from the control desk.

While designed for the PTC-120, the CB-55 is most effective when paired with the Datavideo RMC-190 controller. It ensures that every command—from complex preset recalls to manual joystick adjustments—is delivered with zero latency.
