The DRM2-Plus is a 3RU rackmount chassis designed to house and power AJA Mini-Converters in professional broadcast and production environments. It simplifies cable management, power distribution, and system organization by centralizing multiple converters in one rack unit.

High-Density Converter Support

This frame supports up to 12 standard AJA Mini-Converters or up to 24 smaller units such as FiDO, HA5-Plus, Hi5-Plus, V2Analog™, and V2Digital™. It also supports up to 6 next-generation converters like IP25-R, UDC-4K, and DANTE-12GAM for advanced workflows.

Flexible Power and Redundancy Options

The DRM2-Plus offers single or redundant power supply configurations to ensure uninterrupted operation in critical live broadcast and production environments. A regulated 12V DC distribution system powers all installed converters efficiently.

Advanced Cooling and Reliability

An optional active cooling faceplate with integrated fans is available for high-temperature or high-power setups. This ensures stable operation even under heavy load conditions or demanding environmental conditions.

Easy Maintenance and Installation

Converters can be installed or removed without taking the frame out of the rack. The hinged front panel design provides quick access, making maintenance and upgrades simple and efficient.
