The Evertz 500IDA9-IG and 500IDA9-HD-IG redefine traditional broadcast distribution amplifiers by combining signal reclocking with advanced audio processing and signal auditing. Engineered for live production, signal transport, and multi-channel playout facilities, this single-slot module accepts a primary serial digital input and delivers nine high-quality, fully conditioned outputs across extended coaxial cable runs.

Integrated IntelliGain® Loudness Control & Audio Shuffling

Unlike baseline distribution amplifiers, the 500IDA9-IG series integrates Evertz' award-winning IntelliGain® loudness control technology. Operating strictly under ITU-R BS.1770 standards, the onboard processor maintains consistent audio levels to prevent jarring loudness spikes between regular programming and interstitials. The module also features embedded mono audio channel shuffling and flexible downmix algorithms to streamline audio workflow operations without requiring dedicated downstream hardware.

Centralized Monitoring & Frame Architecture

Designed for high-density environments, up to 15 modules can fit within a single 3RU 500FR frame (when paired with a 500FC series frame controller). Full SNMP compatibility via Evertz VistaLINK® allows broadcast engineers to monitor signal presence, track real-time operational parameters, and remotely adjust gain, downmixing, and channel routing across the entire facility network.
