2-Channel Fiber to 12G-SDI Conversion

The FiDO-2R-12G converts incoming single-mode LC fiber signals into two independent 12G-SDI outputs. Each channel operates separately, enabling simultaneous delivery of two SDI signals from fiber sources.

Independent Dual-Channel Operation

Both fiber-to-SDI paths function independently, allowing flexible signal routing and distribution. This is ideal for workflows requiring multiple synchronized or separate video feeds.

Long-Distance Fiber Reception

The device supports fiber transmission distances up to 10 km (32,808 ft) over standard single-mode fiber, making it suitable for large-scale broadcast environments, remote production, and facility interconnects.

Format-Agnostic SDI Support

FiDO-2R-12G supports a wide range of SDI formats from 270 Mbps up to 12 Gbps, including 12G, 6G, 3G, HD, and SD-SDI. It automatically adapts to incoming signal formats without manual configuration.

HDR Metadata Pass-Through

The unit supports HDR metadata pass-through, ensuring High Dynamic Range information is preserved across the fiber-to-SDI conversion, maintaining image fidelity in HDR workflows.

Flexible Fiber Connectivity

Supports either two simplex LC connections or a single duplex LC connection, providing flexibility in cabling configurations depending on system design requirements.

Compact and Deployment-Friendly Design

The compact, low-profile enclosure allows installation in tight spaces such as racks, mobile production units, or camera rigs, making it suitable for both fixed and portable setups.
