2-Channel 12G-SDI to Fiber Transmission

The FiDO-2T-12G converts two independent 12G-SDI inputs into single-mode LC fiber outputs. Each channel operates separately, allowing simultaneous transport of two SDI signals over fiber without interference.

Independent Dual-Channel Operation

Each SDI input is processed independently, enabling flexible workflows where two separate video sources can be transmitted over fiber at the same time. This is ideal for multi-camera setups or dual-feed environments.

Long-Distance Fiber Transport

The device supports transmission distances up to 10 km (32,808 ft) over standard single-mode fiber. This makes it suitable for large venues, broadcast facilities, and remote production workflows requiring long cable runs.

Format-Agnostic SDI Support

FiDO-2T-12G supports a wide range of SDI formats from 270 Mbps up to 12 Gbps, including 12G, 6G, 3G, HD, and SD-SDI. It automatically handles signal formats without requiring manual configuration.

HDR Metadata Pass-Through

The converter supports pass-through of SDI metadata, including HDR information, ensuring that High Dynamic Range content maintains its integrity across the fiber link.

Flexible Fiber Connectivity

The unit supports either two simplex LC connections or a single duplex LC connection, depending on installation requirements. This provides flexibility in cabling and system design.

Compact and Rack-Friendly Design

Its low-profile, compact enclosure allows installation in tight environments such as racks, mobile units, or camera rigs, making it suitable for both fixed and portable setups.

Reliable Power and Operation

The device operates on a 5–20V DC universal power supply and includes a locking connector to prevent accidental disconnection. It is designed for continuous professional use with stable performance.
