4-Channel SDI to Fiber Transmission

The FiDO-4T converts four independent 3G-SDI inputs into single-mode LC fiber outputs. Each channel operates separately, enabling simultaneous transport of multiple video signals over fiber.

Independent Channel Operation

All four SDI channels are processed independently, allowing flexible routing and reliable signal conversion without interference between channels. This is ideal for multi-camera or multi-feed workflows.

Long-Distance Fiber Transport

Supports transmission distances up to 10 km (32,808 ft) over standard single-mode fiber, making it suitable for large broadcast facilities, remote production environments, and studio interconnects.

Multi-Format SDI Support

Compatible with 3G, HD, and SD-SDI formats. The system is format-agnostic within supported bandwidths, automatically handling different input signals without manual configuration.

4K and UltraHD Workflow Support

Supports 4K and UltraHD-SDI transmission across four fiber links, enabling high-resolution workflows where multiple channels are used together for combined signal transport.

HDR Metadata Pass-Through

Preserves HDR metadata across the fiber transmission path, ensuring accurate high dynamic range video reproduction and maintaining image integrity.

Flexible Fiber Connectivity

Supports either four simplex LC outputs or two duplex LC connections, providing flexibility in system design and cabling configurations.

Electrical Isolation

Provides electrical isolation between connected devices, helping eliminate ground loop issues and improving signal stability in complex setups.
