Dual 12G-SDI Outputs

The device provides two mirrored 12G-SDI outputs, allowing simultaneous distribution of a single HDMI source to multiple SDI destinations such as monitors, switchers, or recorders.

4K and UltraHD Support

Supports resolutions up to 4K (4096×2160) and UltraHD (3840×2160) at frame rates up to 60p, along with HD and SD formats for flexible workflow compatibility.

HDR Metadata Processing

Analyzes HDMI HDR InfoFrame data and supports HDR metadata pass-through or override, ensuring accurate HDR rendering across compatible displays and systems.

EDID Emulation

EDID emulation ensures stable communication between the source device and the converter, allowing consistent output formats and reducing compatibility issues.

Frame Rate Conversion

Built-in frame rate conversion enables conversion between fractional and integer frame rates (e.g., 59.94 ↔ 60 fps), supporting mixed-standard production workflows.

Audio Support

Supports embedded HDMI audio (up to 16 channels) and external 2-channel analog audio via RCA inputs. Audio can be embedded into SDI outputs and supports formats such as PCM, Dolby Digital (AC-3), and Dolby Digital Plus (E-AC-3).

Fiber Transmission Options

Fiber-equipped variants (HA5-12G-T and HA5-12G-T-ST) include SFP modules for long-distance transmission up to 10 km over single-mode fiber, extending HDMI signals into remote production environments.
