The structural centerpiece of the ARTEMIS 2 Live is its specialized 1.8-inch "Shorty" center post. By heavily reducing the physical length of the vertical column, this minimalist design gives operators maximum lower-body clearance and increased legroom. This ergonomics boost allows operators to run, track, and pivot alongside athletes or live performers without fear of hitting their legs against the lower sled structure. Despite its compact footprint, the rugged chassis effortlessly handles massive payload weights up to 40 kg (88 lbs), maintaining perfect balance with fiber-backed studio setups and large cinema zoom lenses.

Built-In Multi-Camera Infrastructure

Unlike traditional film-style mechanical sleds that require messy, exterior cabling loops for live video routing, the ARTEMIS 2 Live builds multi-camera infrastructure straight into its hardware core. The center post houses a fully integrated Tally signaling pathway alongside native LBUS connections and robust dual 12G-SDI video lines. Shading telemetry, camera control inputs, and return video signals travel internally through the rig, safeguarding fragile connections from snags or environment-induced cable damage on active, fast-paced sets.

Targeted Dual-Monitor Workspace and Power Delivery

To ensure operators keep an exact eye on both their frame and the control room's demands, the redesigned lower stage features unique base mounts and specialized monitor jockeys. This hardware easily supports large 7-inch production monitors from top-tier brands like Transvideo, Smart Systems, and SmallHD, while offering a secondary dedicated bracket to position a 5-inch "On Air" program monitor. Powered by an intelligent, dual-voltage power distribution board that supplies simultaneous 12V and 24V power, the unit can be configured natively with industry-standard V-Mount or Gold-Mount battery plates to keep the entire rig operational throughout long, continuous live transmissions.
