Product Overview +
Powering the Future of High-End Productions
The ARRI B-Mount Battery Interface represents a major leap forward in camera and lighting power distribution. Endorsed by ARRI and leading manufacturers worldwide, this open industry standard is engineered to replace aging, lower-voltage battery systems. By providing a high-capacity 24 V output alongside multi-voltage 12 V compatibility, the B-Mount allows camera crews, rental houses, and gaffers to streamline their on-set power requirements under a single, highly efficient standard.
Uncompromising Power Delivery and Physical Security
Designed specifically to meet the high demands of modern digital cinema cameras and high-draw LED fixtures, the B-Mount system delivers a minimum of 15 A at 24 V. Physically, the plate has been restructured to support demanding environments. Its side-loading mechanism allows operators to slide batteries on and off with a single hand, while its vibration-resistant lock ensures absolute contact stability when mounted to high-speed vehicle rigs, stabilizers, or remote heads. Because the mechanical release lever is located on the battery itself rather than the plate, the B-Mount plate maintains an exceptionally thin, lightweight footprint.
Intelligent Telemetry and Advanced Fleet Diagnostics
The B-Mount is equipped with state-of-the-art SMBus data pathways, enabling rich communication between the battery, camera, and rental inventory software. Users receive highly accurate, real-time readouts of remaining run times and charging cycles—even when batteries are stacked. By logging precise battery identification directly into the camera's metadata, the system prevents sudden overload shutdowns by matching the camera's power demands with the battery's maximum load threshold, maximizing safety and predictability on set.
