High-Performance Fiber Live Transport

The ARRI Live Production System LPS-1 provides a unified, broadcast-grade interface for the ALEXA 35 Live multicam system. The system consists of the camera-mounted Fiber Camera Adapter and the 19-inch rackmount Fiber Base Station. Connected via a SMPTE 311 hybrid fiber cable, the system transmits uncompressed 4K video and feeds up to 400W of remote power to the camera and attached 12V/24V accessories across distances up to 2 km. For extreme distances up to 10 km, the system supports tactical fiber when powering the camera locally.

Comprehensive Rear Control & Audio Routing

Designed for intuitive live operation, the Fiber Camera Adapter attaches securely via a self-aligning mechanical interface and connects to the camera externally using a single FCA-to-Ethernet link. The adapter offers full control over intercom channels (PROD, ENG, TRACKER), A1/A2 audio input switching (MIC +48V, MIC, LINE, AES), return video selections, and dedicated 12V/24V accessory power outputs.

Enterprise Base Station & IP Integration

The LPS-1 Fiber Base Station integrates cleanly into OB trucks and studio control rooms. Equipped with dual-redundant universal AC power inputs, the base station outputs multiple simultaneous formats, including 12G-SDI, quad-link 3G-SDI, and down-converted HD signals. Built-in SFP28 transceivers enable SMPTE ST 2110 IP video routing, while 1 Gb/s Ethernet tunnels and auxiliary fiber tunnels provide supplementary control, audio, and video expansion.
