The ARRI M8 is the most compact fixture in ARRI's acclaimed M-Series line of HMI daylight lampheads. Utilizing ARRI’s patented MAX Technology open-face reflector system, the M8 optimizes light output to deliver performance approaching that of a traditional 1,200 W fixture while drawing only 800 W. This makes it an extraordinarily efficient lighting solution for field production, location trucks, and tight set environments where power availability and space are limited.

Lens-Less Convenience & Precision Control

By eliminating the need for heavy, breakable drop-in lenses, the M8 simplifies on-set workflow and speeds up setup times. Operators can quickly dial in the desired beam angle from a tight 15° spot to a 60° flood simply by adjusting the rear focus knob. The result is a remarkably uniform light field with crisp, sharp shadows that lighting directors demand.

Built for High-Speed & Rugged Production

Designed for demanding feature film, commercial, and broadcast environments, the M8 features a robust IP23-rated housing with a secure tilt-lock system to hold heavy light modifiers steady. Equipped with an international VEAM connector, it integrates seamlessly with existing 575 W to 1,800 W ARRI head cables and advanced electronic ballasts featuring Compensation for Cable Losses (CCL).
