Product Overview +
High-End Cinema Calibration
The ARRI Mini Follow Focus MFF-2 Cine Base (K2.65255.0) offers a pristine, zero-backlash engineering solution for high-end cinema lens control. Utilizing an internal 2:1 gear ratio, this module slows down the pulling mechanism relative to the lens rotation. This design gives focus pullers precise control over the long, expansive focal throws typical of high-end cinema glass, allowing for fine adjustments during critical shots.
Adaptable Modular Architecture
Built as a highly customizable core unit, the MFF-2 Cine base can be easily configured to suit any camera operator's preferred setup. It features an open interface that accepts a wide range of drive gears and focus knobs, from standard focus wheels to dual-speed or hard-stop variants. The adjustable positioning arm slides vertically and horizontally to mate flawlessly with small-format primes or bulky cinema zooms.
Fast-Paced On-Set Efficiency
Time on set is critical, and the design of the MFF-2 base directly supports rapid workflow transitions. Its unique, single-rod snap-on clamp mechanism mounts securely onto standard 15mm LWS support systems from above, completely eliminating the need to slide off matte boxes or lens supports. The rugged metal construction ensures maximum rigidity and dependable field performance in extreme production environments.
