Comprehensive Live Shading and Camera Control

The Skaarhoj RCP Pro ARRI V2B Remote Control Panel is a bespoke live painting solution engineered for the ARRI ALEXA 35 Live system. Combining classic shading ergonomics with deeper digital cinema control, the panel leverages ARRI’s Camera Access Protocol (CAP). Shading technicians can paint images in real time while directly tweaking camera-native parameters—such as loading Look Library files, adjusting ARRI Textures, and triggering playback—right from the RCP interface.

Tactical Hardware Layout

Built around a familiar, industry-standard Sony RCP form factor, the controller integrates into existing OB van and studio rack setups. It features 9 backlit rotary encoders, 9 programmable 4-way buttons, and 18 individual OLED screens that display dynamic parameter labels. A tilted main OLED display and a dedicated joystick display give operators continuous visual feedback over iris, master black, and live color adjustments.

Flexible Network Setup and Management

Powered by Skaarhoj’s skaarOS (Blue Pill platform), the RCP Pro ARRI V2B supports PoE (Power over Ethernet) and standard RJ45 LAN networking. Using the Skaarhoj Reactor web-based interface, engineers can auto-discover camera chains on the network, assign IP addresses, and configure custom button mappings to match specific production requirements.
