Product Overview +
The Pinnacle of Camera Movement & Stabilization
The second-generation ARRI TRINITY 2 and ARTEMIS 2 system represents a massive evolution in high-end camera stabilization, designed natively around operator workflow and rigorous on-set flexibility. Rather than limiting professionals to separate mechanical and motorized stabilizer setups, ARRI has engineered a singular, modular ecosystem where both units share 80% of the exact same components. This allows camera operators to effortlessly assemble, reconfigure, or upgrade their rigs depending on what the specific shot demands. A purely mechanical ARTEMIS 2 setup can be rapidly transformed into the hybrid TRINITY 2 to pull off physics-defying 360-degree rolls and dramatic high-to-low mode lens transitions.
Advanced Power Regulation and Universal Battery Shifting
Operating power-hungry digital cinema packages requires robust energy pipelines. The second-generation bottom stage features an incredibly efficient power routing board that operates at a certified 95% efficiency. It calculates exact power requirements on the fly, regulating clean 12 V and 24 V current across components. The modular battery hanger holds up to three batteries simultaneously, letting teams blend B-Mount, V-Mount, or Gold Mount packs depending on local availability. For dynamic physical balancing, these quick-release battery plates slide smoothly along standard 19 mm rods, acting as highly adjustable counterweights to dial in perfect static and dynamic balance without adding dead weight.
Uncompromised Data Flow & Structural Reinforcements
To accommodate modern production standards, the center post and top stage have been updated from the inside out. Telemetry and camera control signals route through a massive 16-pin main data socket for blazing-fast communication with follow-focus controllers and remote wheels. Video feeds are handled by two independent 12G-SDI lines, ensuring seamless transmission of clean ultra-high-definition video directly from the camera base. Structurally, the top stage incorporates an ultra-secure clamp mechanism that locks onto precise, camera-specific SAM (Stabilizer Adapter Mount) plates, allowing operators to swap from a stabilizer sled to a fluid head or the ARRI SRH-360 remote head without tools.
Limitless Perspectives on Set
With the integration of the latest Stabilizer Software Upgrade (SUP 4.0), the TRINITY 2 introduces dedicated user modes that redefine physical operating boundaries. Combined with the newly introduced Super Post and optional weights, operators can achieve an extended boom range of up to 3.7 meters, performing sweeping vertical jib arcs that historically required a full studio crane. For fast tracking work or space-constrained car interiors, the system swaps just as quickly over to the Shorty Post. Supported by German-manufactured, low-friction precision bearings and a patented self-centering gimbal lock, these tools ensure that every slide, track, and pan looks absolutely flawless.
