Overview

The Audio Expansion Board (AEB) is an optional interface module designed for the Mercury Interface Unit (MIU). It enables seamless integration of hardware panels and analog audio devices into the Mercury communication system.

Functionality

Each AEB provides 8 audio ports for connecting user panels and analog audio circuits. It allows audio signals to be distributed across the Mercury network, making them accessible to all connected operators.

Integration

The AEB works exclusively with the MIU and supports up to four boards per unit, enabling up to 32 physical audio ports. It allows direct communication between panels and other Mercury devices.

With high-quality audio processing, low distortion, and flexible level adjustments, the AEB ensures reliable and clear audio transmission across the system.

Design & Connectivity

The board uses RJ45 connectors for both audio and data transmission, simplifying installation and cabling. It supports both balanced and unbalanced signals for flexible deployment.
