Product Overview +
Designed for Modern PTZ Camera Workflows
The Autoscript EVO-IP15PTZA Prompter Package provides an all-in-one, broadcast-grade prompting solution engineered specifically for PTZ camera operations. Built around a custom lightweight carbon fibre hood, this system allows popular production PTZ cameras—such as the Sony FR7 and Canon N700—to mount neatly inside the enclosure. Its internal mounting architecture features continuous horizontal and vertical alignment controls, ensuring the camera lens sits precisely at the optical center of the prompter glass for natural eye contact.
In-Hood Calibration and Wide Lens Support
A common hurdle in robotic camera setups is the calibration sequence required upon startup. The EVO-IP15PTZA solves this with an enclosure designed to permit full camera auto-calibration directly inside the hood with the glass installed. Furthermore, the hood geometry is optimized for wide-angle optics, allowing robotic heads to pan ±15° and tilt ±5° without vignetting or catching the edges of the frame, preserving the full dynamic range of motion for automated camera movements.
Flexible Rigging and High-Brightness Display
Equipped with a high-performance 15” EVO display outputting 1500 nits of brightness and a 700:1 contrast ratio, prompt text remains sharp and easy to read even in heavily lit broadcast studios. The assembly features multiple VESA and support fixing points along the top, back, and bottom, enabling secure mounting to lighting grids, walls, ceiling trusses, or traditional camera support pedestals. Integrated cable routing channels and a removable rear panel keep signal and power lines neatly organized for rapid setup and teardown.
