Product Overview +
Mid-Sized Dual Display System for PTZ Production
The Autoscript EPIC-IP17PTZ System delivers an integrated, large-format prompting and talent feedback solution designed specifically for PTZ camera workflows. By pairing a 17” high-brightness prompter screen with a matching 17” talent feedback monitor in a unified assembly, this system gives on-air presenters increased screen real estate for larger text visibility alongside live return video feeds. The entire package is enclosed within a lightweight carbon fibre composite hood, eliminating the extra weight and balance issues associated with third-party feedback monitors.
In-Hood Alignment and Auto-Calibration Efficiency
Engineered to streamline multi-camera broadcast workflows, the EPIC-IP17PTZ removes setup friction for popular studio PTZ cameras, including the Sony FR7 and Canon N700. An internal inverted mounting bracket offers continuous vertical and horizontal positioning adjustments to align the camera lens precisely with the optical sweet spot of the prompter glass. Crucially, the enclosure supports complete in-hood camera auto-calibration with the glass installed, saving valuable time during pre-broadcast preparation.
Broadcast-Grade Rigging and Integrated Cable Routing
Built for demanding studio deployment, the system's carbon fibre enclosure includes built-in side flags to shield against stray overhead lighting and maintain high contrast. Internal cable routing channels and a removable rear access panel keep power and control lines organized, preventing mechanical interference during robotic pan-and-tilt movements. With mounting points positioned across the top, back, and base of the assembly, the EPIC-IP17PTZ installs securely onto pedestals, ceiling trusses, wall brackets, or lighting grids.
