Product Overview +
Professional On-Camera Prompting for PTZ Workflows
The Autoscript EVO-IP17PTZ Prompter Package provides large-format teleprompting tailored specifically for automated and robotic PTZ camera systems. Enclosed in a custom carbon fibre composite hood, it allows high-end studio PTZ cameras—such as the Sony FR7 and Canon N700—to mount directly inside the assembly. An internal inverted mounting bracket offers continuous horizontal and vertical positioning, placing the camera lens perfectly at the optical sweet spot of the prompter glass.
Rapid In-Hood Calibration and Wide Viewing Field
Designed to streamline live studio operations, the EVO-IP17PTZ permits full PTZ camera startup and auto-calibration routines directly inside the hood with the glass intact. Its spacious internal hood geometry accommodates wide-angle lenses without edge clipping, enabling robotic camera heads to pan ±15° and tilt ±5°. Integrated cable management routing channels and a removable rear access hatch keep signal lines protected and control rooms organized.
High-Visibility Display with Comprehensive IP Connectivity
Featuring a 17” display with 1500 nits of output and a high 1000:1 contrast ratio, text remains sharp and effortless to read for on-air talent across long distances and under heavy lighting grids. The system connects directly to local networks as an Intelligent Prompting IP device while maintaining backward compatibility through dual HD-SDI and dual CVBS composite inputs. With versatile mounting points across the top, rear, and base, it deploys easily on light grids, trusses, wall brackets, or pedestals.
