Barix Exstreamer MPA400 is a powerful Audio over IP decoder with a built-in 40W full digital Class-D amplifier. It is designed to convert IP audio streams into high-quality amplified output, directly driving loudspeakers in professional audio environments.

Flexible Power Options with PoE Support

The device supports IEEE 802.3af/at/bt PoE standards, allowing easy deployment without separate power infrastructure. When PoE is not available, it can also operate using an external 24V DC power supply.

Enterprise Audio System Integration

MPA400 integrates seamlessly with leading IP communication platforms including Dante, SIP systems, InformaCast, and Syn-Apps Revolution, making it ideal for large-scale paging, announcements, and emergency messaging.

Professional Audio Performance

The system supports a wide range of professional audio codecs including MP3, AAC-HE, PCM, Opus, G.711, G.722, WAV, and OGG Vorbis, ensuring compatibility with modern streaming and broadcast systems.

Advanced Control & Integration

A built-in REST API allows integration with third-party applications, while a web-based interface enables simple configuration and management. Audio playback can also be triggered via UDP commands.

Direct Speaker Drive Capability

With support for 2–8 Ohm speaker impedance, the device eliminates the need for external amplifiers, simplifying installation and reducing system cost.
