Overview

The Blackmagic Design ATEM 1 M/E Constellation 4K is a professional Ultra HD live production switcher designed for broadcast, live events and professional AV applications. This model features 10 standards-converted 12G-SDI inputs and six 12G-SDI outputs, supporting both HD and Ultra HD production up to 2160p60.

Performance / Features

All 10 12G-SDI inputs feature frame synchronization, frame-rate conversion and format conversion, making it possible to integrate sources using different compatible HD and Ultra HD formats. The switcher processes 10-bit 4:2:2 video and provides six configurable 12G-SDI outputs.

Production capabilities include 1 M/E, four upstream keyers, a DVE, chroma keying, media players and a configurable multiview supporting up to 16 monitoring windows. A built-in Fairlight audio mixer provides extensive audio processing, while professional talkback supports integration with production crews and compatible Blackmagic cameras.

Applications / Integration

The ATEM 1 M/E Constellation 4K is suited to television studios, live events, sports, corporate AV, houses of worship, education and professional multi-camera productions. Ethernet provides network control through ATEM Software Control and compatible hardware panels, while USB-C provides a webcam output for computer-based video applications.
