Overview

The Blackmagic Design ATEM Monitoring Rack Panel 20 combines an ATEM switcher control panel with a professional SMPTE 2110 monitoring converter in a compact 1RU rackmount design. It provides 20 input buttons for controlling a local ATEM switcher while simultaneously converting an IP video source for monitoring on conventional SDI and HDMI displays.

Performance / Features

The panel features two redundant 10G Ethernet connections for SMPTE 2110 IP video and supports ST 2022-7 redundant delivery across two networks. The incoming IP video can be converted to two 12G-SDI outputs and one HDMI output, with video also displayed on the integrated front-panel LCD. A separate 1G Ethernet connection is provided for switcher and NMOS control.

It supports SMPTE ST 2110-20, ST 2110-21, ST 2110-30 and ST 2110-40, along with PTP timing and NMOS. A front-panel 5-pin XLR talkback connection enables production communication, while redundant AC power inputs improve reliability for professional installations.

Applications / Integration

The ATEM Monitoring Rack Panel 20 is designed primarily for ATEM Constellation IP installations where local rack monitoring and physical switcher control are required. It is particularly useful in broadcast studios, control rooms, OB facilities and live production systems that need to monitor SMPTE 2110 sources using conventional 12G-SDI or HDMI displays.
