Overview

The Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio HD8 is a professional all-in-one live production switcher combining a broadcast control panel with eight standards-converted 3G-SDI inputs. It brings switching, hardware streaming, recording, multiview, audio mixing, talkback and camera control into a compact system suitable for both fixed studios and portable productions.

Performance / Features

The ATEM Television Studio HD8 supports eight independent 3G-SDI inputs, each with its own standards converter for integrating different compatible 720p and 1080p sources. Its extensive output section includes 12 SDI video outputs plus an HDMI multiview output, while USB provides webcam functionality for integration with computer-based video applications.

Advanced production capabilities include four ATEM Advanced Chroma Keyers, SuperSource with four additional DVE layers, two media players, professional transitions and a 58-channel Fairlight audio mixer. The integrated hardware streaming engine allows direct live streaming, while H.264 recording can be made to external USB storage or optional internal M.2 storage.
