Overview

The Blackmagic Design DeckLink 8K Pro G2 is a professional 8K PCI Express capture and playback card designed for digital cinema, broadcast and high-end post-production. It combines four bidirectional 12G-SDI connections with HDMI 2.1, providing support for SD, HD, Ultra HD, 4K DCI, 8K and 8K DCI workflows.

Performance

DeckLink 8K Pro G2 supports resolutions up to 8192 × 4320 at 60 fps. It can operate at up to 120 fps in HD and 4K and up to 60 fps in 8K. Image processing includes 8 and 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 plus 10 and 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 with full Rec. 2020 color support.

Using the DeckLink SDK, its four 12G-SDI connections can be configured for up to four independent video streams in any combination of input or output, format and frame rate up to 4K DCI 60p. The card also supports single, dual-link and quad-link SDI configurations for higher-resolution workflows.
