Overview

The Blackmagic Design DeckLink IP 100G is a high-performance PCI Express Gen 4 capture and playback card designed for large-scale SMPTE 2110 broadcast infrastructures. It supports up to eight channels of Ultra HD video with simultaneous capture and playback, using dual 100Gb/s QSFP28 Ethernet connections for fully redundant IP networking.

Performance

DeckLink IP 100G supports multi-rate SD, HD and Ultra HD workflows, with up to eight simultaneous Ultra HD channels. Blackmagic uses dual 100G QSFP28 ports and SMPTE 2022-7 redundant streams to provide resilient operation in mission-critical broadcast environments.

The card uses an 8-lane PCI Express Gen 4 computer interface and supports professional codecs and formats including Apple ProRes, DNxHD and 10-bit uncompressed video. GPU Direct RDMA support enables direct data transfers to compatible GPUs, reducing latency for real-time graphics, AI processing and compositing applications.

Applications

DeckLink IP 100G is designed for high-channel-count broadcast servers, SMPTE 2110 production systems, live production, virtual production, broadcast graphics, AI video processing, playout and professional capture environments. It supports PTP synchronization, NMOS discovery and connection management, and SMPTE 2110 transport for video, audio and ancillary data.
