Overview

The Blackmagic Design DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K is a low-profile PCI Express playback and monitoring card designed to provide professional SDI and HDMI video output from a workstation. It features 6G-SDI and HDMI 2.0a outputs and supports video formats up to Ultra HD 2160p30.

The card is designed for professional editing, color correction and monitoring environments and includes both full-height and low-profile PCI Express shields for flexible workstation installation.

Performance

DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K supports SD, HD, 2K DCI, Ultra HD and 4K DCI playback, including Ultra HD up to 2160p30 and 4K DCI up to 25p. Its SDI output supports 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 sampling with 8-bit and 10-bit YUV as well as up to 12-bit RGB, depending on the video format.

HDMI 2.0a provides Deep Color and HDR support, while the card supports Rec. 601, Rec. 709 and Rec. 2020 color spaces. HDR capabilities include static metadata packing with HLG and PQ transfer characteristics.

Applications

DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K is well suited to professional video editing, color grading, post-production, broadcast monitoring and other workflows where accurate SDI or HDMI output from a computer is required.

Its PCIe architecture and support for the Blackmagic Desktop Video SDK also make it suitable for custom playback and monitoring solutions on Mac, Windows and Linux systems.
