Overview

The Blackmagic Design DeckLink Mini Monitor HD is a PCI Express playback and monitoring card designed to deliver broadcast-quality video from a computer to professional SDI or HDMI displays. It provides one 3G-SDI output and one HDMI 2.0 output for connection to monitors, televisions and projectors.

Its single-lane PCIe Gen 2 interface is compatible with x1, x4, x8 and x16 PCI Express slots, allowing integration into a wide range of professional workstations.

Performance

DeckLink Mini Monitor HD supports SD and HD playback up to 1080p60, along with DCI 2K up to 60 fps over SDI. The card supports professional YUV and RGB formats, including 8-bit and 10-bit YUV and up to 12-bit RGB in supported modes.

Embedded audio output provides 16 channels over SDI and 8 channels over HDMI. Blackmagic also specifies support for HDR monitoring, including HLG and PQ formats.

Applications

DeckLink Mini Monitor HD is suited to professional editing, color correction, post-production and broadcast monitoring systems where dedicated SDI or HDMI program output is required. It works with production software including DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro, along with a broad range of third-party professional video applications.

The combination of 3G-SDI and HDMI makes it useful for monitoring through professional broadcast displays as well as conventional HDMI monitors, televisions and projectors.
