Overview

The Blackmagic Design DeckLink Mini Recorder 4K is a low-profile PCI Express capture card designed for professional SDI and HDMI video ingest. It features one 6G-SDI input and one HDMI 2.0a input, providing capture of SD, HD, 2K and 4K video formats in a compact workstation-friendly design.

Blackmagic specifies support for formats up to 2160p30, making the card suitable for professional Ultra HD acquisition as well as conventional SD and HD workflows.

Performance

The 6G-SDI input supports resolutions up to 4096 × 2160 at 25 fps and Ultra HD 3840 × 2160 at up to 30 fps. HDMI capture supports 4K, HD and SD formats through an HDMI 2.0a connection.

Professional embedded audio capture is supported with up to 16 channels over SDI and 8 channels over HDMI at 24-bit/48 kHz. The card also supports HLG HDR and professional SMPTE video standards.

Applications

DeckLink Mini Recorder 4K is suitable for professional video ingest, live streaming, broadcast capture, post-production, media archiving and converting older media into modern digital workflows. Its low-profile form factor allows installation in compact systems as well as conventional workstations.

It integrates with professional production software including Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve and Fusion, alongside applications from Adobe, Avid and other production software developers.
