Overview

The Blackmagic Design DeckLink Mini Recorder HD is a compact PCI Express capture card designed for professional SDI and HDMI video ingest. It provides one 3G-SDI input and one HDMI 2.0 input, supporting SD and HD workflows as well as DCI 2K capture over SDI.

Its PCIe architecture is compatible with 1, 4, 8 and 16-lane PCI Express slots, making it suitable for both compact and full-size professional workstations.

Performance

DeckLink Mini Recorder HD supports SDI capture up to DCI 2K at 60 fps, along with 1080p up to 60 fps and standard 720p, 1080i and SD formats. HDMI supports HD formats up to 1080p60. The card supports professional YUV and RGB video formats with up to 12-bit RGB capability in supported SDI modes.

Embedded audio capture provides up to 16 channels over SDI and 8 channels over HDMI. Hardware-based real-time color-space conversion is also supported.

Applications

DeckLink Mini Recorder HD is suited to broadcast ingest, live streaming, recording, video conferencing, production and software-based capture systems. It is compatible with applications including OBS, vMix, Wirecast and other professional capture platforms.

Its combination of SDI and HDMI allows professional cameras, switchers and consumer or prosumer HDMI equipment to be integrated into the same workstation-based production environment.
