Overview

The Blackmagic Design DeckLink Quad HDMI Recorder is a professional PCI Express capture card featuring four independent HDMI 2.0b inputs. Each HDMI input operates independently, allowing four different video sources and formats to be captured simultaneously within a single workstation.

Designed for multi-camera and multi-source workflows, the card supports SD, HD, Ultra HD and DCI 4K input formats. Its four-channel architecture reduces the need to install multiple individual capture cards when building professional production, streaming and broadcast systems.

Performance

Each of the four HDMI inputs provides independent capture capability and supports resolutions up to DCI 4K at 60 fps. Because each input can operate with a different video standard, the DeckLink Quad HDMI Recorder can ingest mixed-resolution HDMI sources simultaneously.

The card supports high-quality YUV and RGB video workflows along with embedded HDMI audio. PCI Express connectivity provides the bandwidth required to transfer multiple high-resolution video streams into compatible professional video applications.

Applications

DeckLink Quad HDMI Recorder is suited to multi-camera live production, broadcast graphics, streaming, lecture capture, video servers, presentation recording and professional ingest systems. Four independent inputs make it particularly useful where several HDMI cameras, computers or other HDMI sources need to be captured simultaneously.

It can also be integrated into custom OEM and software-based video systems using Blackmagic Design's DeckLink SDK, providing a flexible platform for specialized multi-channel capture applications.
