Overview

The Blackmagic Design DeckLink Studio 4K is a professional PCI Express capture and playback card designed for facilities working across digital and analog video formats. It provides 6G-SDI and HDMI 4K input and output alongside analog component, composite and S-Video connectivity, allowing integration with both modern and legacy production equipment.

The card supports workflows spanning SD, HD, 2K and Ultra HD, making it suitable for editing, broadcast design, ingest, playback and post-production systems that require extensive connectivity from a single PCIe card.

Performance

DeckLink Studio 4K provides 10-bit 6G-SDI input and output and supports Ultra HD resolutions up to 3840 × 2160p30 as well as DCI 4K up to 4096 × 2160p25. HDMI input and output provide additional digital video connectivity, while the card supports 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 video sampling according to the selected format.

Built-in hardware processing includes HD-to-SD down conversion, SD-to-HD up conversion and cross conversion between 720p and 1080p during playback. Reference input supports Black Burst and Tri-Sync synchronization for integration into professional broadcast environments.

DeckLink Studio 4K is designed for professional video editing, broadcast ingest and playback, color correction, graphics, compositing and post-production.
