Overview

The Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro is an advanced desktop broadcast recorder and player built around a large 7-inch touchscreen, professional transport controls and a large search dial. It combines traditional deck-style operation with modern 12G-SDI, HDMI 2.0 and high-speed network connectivity for professional recording and playback workflows.

Performance

HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro supports SD, HD and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p60, along with 4K DCI up to 30p. Multi-rate SDI automatically handles 270Mb, 1.5G, 3G, 6G and 12G-SDI signals, while HDMI 2.0 provides additional 4K input and output connectivity.

It supports Apple ProRes, DNxHD, DNxHR, H.264 and H.265 codecs. Recording can be performed to SD/UHS-II cards, external USB-C storage or across the network using its fast 10Gb Ethernet interface. The unit also supports ProRes 4444 playback with automatic fill and key routing through its SDI outputs.

Applications

HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro is designed for live production, broadcast recording, mastering, clip playback, graphics playback and studio workflows. Its 7-inch touchscreen provides video, audio, timecode and menu monitoring along with waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope and histogram scopes. A built-in teleprompter further expands its usefulness in studio and presentation environments
