Overview

The Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Studio HD Pro is a full-width 1RU professional broadcast recorder and playback deck. It builds on the HyperDeck Studio HD Plus by adding two 2.5-inch SSD slots alongside its dual SD card slots, a machined metal search dial with electronic clutch, dedicated SDI monitoring and professional XLR timecode connections.

Performance

HyperDeck Studio HD Pro provides a 6G-SDI input, two 6G-SDI outputs, dedicated SDI monitoring, HDMI 2.0 input and HDMI 2.0 output. It supports SD and HD formats as well as Ultra HD and 4K DCI formats up to 30 fps, with 10-bit 4:2:2 processing.

Recording and playback support Apple ProRes, DNx and H.264 workflows. The two SDI outputs also support separate fill and key playback with compatible ProRes 4444 HD files, allowing the HyperDeck to function as a graphics clip player in professional live production.

Applications

HyperDeck Studio HD Pro is suited to broadcast mastering, ISO camera recording, graphics playback, studio ingest, archiving, digital signage and live production. Gigabit Ethernet supports network file transfer and remote control, while RS-422 provides traditional broadcast deck integration.
