Overview

The Blackmagic Design Mini Converter SDI Distribution 4K is a professional SDI distribution converter designed to distribute a single SDI source simultaneously to eight SDI destinations. All eight outputs are reclocked and automatically match the format of the incoming SDI signal.

It supports SD-SDI, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI and 6G-SDI workflows, as well as ASI, ancillary data and embedded audio formats. This makes it suitable for distributing professional video signals throughout broadcast, live production and AV systems.

Performance

The Mini Converter SDI Distribution 4K automatically detects SD, HD or 6G-SDI input formats and distributes the signal to all eight outputs. Supported formats include SD, HD through 1080p60, 2K DCI, Ultra HD through 2160p30 and 4K DCI through 25p.

It supports 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 SDI video sampling, YUV and RGB color spaces, 48 kHz 24-bit embedded SDI audio and ASI signals. Built-in reclocking helps maintain signal integrity across all eight SDI outputs.

Applications

The Mini Converter SDI Distribution 4K is designed for studios, broadcast facilities, OB systems, live production and professional AV installations where one SDI source must be distributed to multiple destinations.

It can feed monitors, recorders, switchers, routers and other SDI equipment simultaneously while maintaining the incoming video format and embedded data.
