Overview

The Blackmagic Design Mini Converter Sync Generator is a compact reference generator designed to synchronize professional video equipment within broadcast and production environments. It provides six reference outputs that can be configured for HD Tri-Sync or standard-definition Black Burst reference signals.

With six outputs available from a single unit, the Sync Generator can provide a common timing reference to multiple cameras, switchers, converters, decks and other genlock-compatible equipment.

Performance

The Mini Converter Sync Generator supports a range of high-definition Tri-Sync reference standards as well as standard-definition PAL and NTSC Black Burst. This allows the same compact unit to support both SD and HD production environments.

The multiple reference outputs are particularly useful for maintaining accurate timing across equipment in studios, live production systems, post-production facilities and other professional video installations.
